It points out that this can be challenging for teachers as they become uncomfortable critiqueing their own and others teaching practices and may feel challenged and reluctant to change.
This article made me look at myself and how others may see me, particularly as I am a beginning teacher. I feel I am always under constant observation, whether directly or in-directly but i feel that I am always open to critisism as this is the only way I will become better as a teacher, which can only benefit my learners. What is important to me is the support network I have in place to help me on this journey of discovery even though I know at the end of the day the onus is on me to take ownership of my own teaching practices I could not do it without the feedback and critique of others.
